In January each year, AC Forum holds its Annual Meeting focusing on developments in association management and congress organisation. The annual meeting programme is designed with input from members to guide topics and case study submission. Members are also involved in the programme as coordinators of sessions. On specialist topics outside experts can be invited.
The Annual Meeting is hosted by a different European city each year.

In 2019 AC Forum celebrates its 20th anniversary. Because of this, the 2019 General Assembly and Annual Meeting will take place in Vienna, Austria, which was also the location of the first AC Forum meeting. The meeting will be from 17-19 January 2019.
